The Team

Leah EnglaND | Principal

As a fourth generation residential builder, Leah England is known in the local building industry for her attention to detail, thoughtful planning, clear communication, and sincerity. Leah worked for two well-established custom construction companies over eight years, guiding more than seventy families through design and construction in the area’s finest communities. Leah jumped to the other side of the glass in a historically male-dominated sector and launched Bellwether Design + Build in order to build homes that reflect the unique lives of her clients.

DANIELA PEREZ DEL MONTE | DIRECTOR OF DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION

Thoughtful design resonates in her attention to detail and client relationships. Daniela enjoys creating spaces that feel curated, timeless, and inviting bringing 15 years of Interior Design and cabinetry experience to Bellwether Design + Build. For over 8 years, she solely designed cabinetry and millwork for turnkey renovations of Kitchens, Bathrooms and Closets. She has worked with high end Residential firms to Semi-Custom production Builders as well as Commercial firms. Born and raised in the small Central American Country of Honduras, Daniela left her roots and came to the United States to pursue a career obtaining an Interior Design Degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a Masters Degree in Furniture Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Some of her furniture pieces have been showcased in Galleries and was a Finalist in the Design Quest Gallery Exhibition in Grand Rapids Michigan in 2012. Daniela resides in Bluffton with her husband Pedro and their 2 young boys. They both have fallen in love with this community and the Lowcountry way of life. On her spare time, she can be found strolling through a good cluttered Antique store. “I’m drawn towards the charm and character of old furniture and the beauty in the patina of brass home goods. Old pieces always have a good story to tell”.
